The recent Paddock Plants Field Day
held in Clunes was a successful and well attended day.


Harry and Carol Rose, NSW DPI, delivering a Paddock Plants Field Day to interested participants. The day was very informative and brought together many landholders from various backgrounds.

THINGS OF INTEREST :

Australian Government Ministers announced the new program to restore the health of Australia's environment and build on improved land management practices. The Caring for our Country program will deliver funding to local communities through a simple, one-stop shop covering the Natural Heritage Trust and the National Landcare Programme, Environmental Stewardship and Working on Country Programs. Details can be accessed on the Australian Government Natural Resource Management website.

The Macadamia Soil Health Card is a new technique for farmers to use in assessing the biological and physical properties of soil on their farms. The card was developed by local macadamia farmers through a series of workshops held at Wollongbar TAFE.
