About the event
A Nature-based Solutions site, planted in May 2025 on a creek flat beside Terania Creek needs our help. Rhodes Grass is competing with the trees, making it hard for them to grow and be seen above the grasses.
By working through the site as a group, we'll stomp down the grasses and tie fluoro tape to the stakes or trees, making it easier for the bush regenerators to see the trees and maintain around them, and the trees to have space to grow.
We'll then enjoy a BBQ lunch beside Terania Creek.
What to bring: gardening gloves, weather-protective clothing, sturdy shoes, a water bottle, and swim-wear if you'd like a refreshing swim.
Morning tea and lunch provided.
Come along and bring your friends and family - together many hands will make light work, and we'll have a fun time in the process!
